Laminations used in hydro units often require a huge upfront investment in tooling up to stamp segments. Our modern laser technology and processes allow us to be cost competitive with lamination stamping on many large generator repair projects. In cases where stamping may be lower for "main" laminations, Laser Technologies can supply "step" lams, vent plates,fillers, etc. to complete the re-stack.

Our services also include de-burring stamped laminations as well as re-insulating core plate. This process is frequently used in large hydro projects to maximize the performance of the generator.
