Fabrication Supply Chain Management
Laser Technologies can help you coordinate all the tasks required to plan, purchase, fabricate, and deliver your finished products. In addition to stocking raw materials, we offer comprehensive warehousing and stocking programs, as well as high quality packaging and reliable shipping services.
Materials In-Stock
We stock over 600 metric tons of steel in our warehouse, enabling us to provide our customers with quick delivery times at competitive prices. We commonly have inventory on the following fabrication materials:
- Cold Roll Steel Sheet
- Cold Roll Steel Bar
- Cold Roll Steel Tube
- Hot Roll Steel Sheet
- Hot Roll Steel Bar
- Hot Roll Steel Tube
If we do not have it in stock, we can usually get it with short lead times. For your convenience, we can also store customer-supplied material.
Stocking Programs
Blanket Order is a just-in-time inventory program for customers that takes advantage of predetermined pricing when there is a recurring need for expendable goods over a period of time. Having a blanket order prevents the customer from having to hold greater than necessary amounts of stock, while favoring discount pricing through volume commitments.
KANBAN is a just-in-time inventory program for customers that enables us to replenish their parts inventory back to an agreed-upon stock level. This blanket agreement allows the customer to obtain their parts without sending new purchase orders, which expedites product delivery.
Die Storage - We store our customers' stamping dies so when they need a part, we can use the existing tooling to quickly produce a finished part.
Packaging & Distribution
We engineer and build all of our packaging around your manufactured product to ensure that it arrives safely. We want you to be able to use your parts, right out of the box. For this reason we go above and beyond most standard packaging expectations to achieve this goal.
Our extensive process to ensure quality packaging often times requires foam, custom-built pallets, rust preventive materials, and shrink wrapping to protect from moisture.
Vacuum packaging is an optional packaging solution we can provide to seal your parts for long-term storage. We vacuum all the air out of the packaging and make sure there is no moisture inside that could rust the parts. Whatever your product requires, we have the capacity to package your components to ensure their quality and reliability.
ISP-15 international specifications for packaging are also available on request.
